Edmund Taylor RAM Installation |
Robert Arrand was installed as Commander of Edmund Taylor RAM Lodge in fine style by Installing Commander Brian Ogden at Adelaide Street Blackpool on Tuesday 17th October. |
As it is the PGMs own Lodge he was in attendance to witness a superb ceremony, even adding to the event by delivering the Exposition address at the conclusion. |
Robert has a full year ahead with candidates already waiting to be Elevated and although it is his first time in the chair of any Lodge he carried it off in a confident assured manner. |
He will also be Installed as W M of his Craft Lodge next year and is in office in his Mark Lodge, so a busy time awaits. |
At the festive board following the ceremony the PGM informed the Lodge of the success of the "Shelterbox" donation from Grand Lodge to the Hurricane hit Caribbean. |
Grand Lodge ( MBF) donated £35000 to the disaster area and the Provinces added another £32000, West Lancashire donating £3500 which has almost doubled the donation. |
In addition West Lancashire are to receive Two new Ambulances for the St Johns Ambulance service as part of a nation wide donation from the MBF. The units are to be based in Southport and Blackpool. Details of the presentation event will be announced shortly. |
