Edmund Taylor RAM Installation

Robert Arrand was installed as Commander of Edmund Taylor RAM Lodge in fine style by Installing Commander Brian Ogden at Adelaide Street Blackpool on Tuesday 17th October.
As it is the PGMs own Lodge he was in attendance to witness a superb ceremony, even adding to the event by delivering the Exposition address at the conclusion.
Robert has a full year ahead with candidates already waiting to be Elevated and although it is his first time in the chair of any Lodge he carried it off in a confident assured manner.
He will also be Installed as W M of his Craft Lodge next year and is in office in his Mark Lodge, so a busy time awaits.
At the festive board following the ceremony the PGM informed the Lodge of the success of the "Shelterbox" donation from Grand Lodge to the Hurricane hit Caribbean.
Grand Lodge ( MBF) donated £35000 to the disaster area and the Provinces added another £32000, West Lancashire donating £3500 which has almost doubled the donation.
In addition West Lancashire are to receive Two new Ambulances for the St Johns Ambulance service as part of a nation wide donation from the MBF. The units are to be based in Southport and Blackpool. Details of the presentation event will be announced shortly.
